It’s been a little over a year since we relocated to Austin from San Francisco – one of the best strategic decisions we’ve made. Austin’s business-friendly climate has helped us weather the economic storm and grow the company. Not to mention, it’s a great place to live.
To celebrate our one-year anniversary, we are hosting our second annual “Summer Bash.” The party is Thursday, September 30th at 6:00 PM. We’ll share more details in a moment (or you can just skip ahead). First, our highlights from this past year.
As some may recall from last year’s party, we were lucky to find a 3,000 sq. ft. of great office space in a historic building downtown. Sadly, we might not be staying long. We’re bursting at the seams and we just moved the CEO’s desk into the hallway.
In the last year, we tripled our workforce. We’re now 18 employees, up more than 3x from the 5 that relocated from SF. This is also one of the reasons for our coming event. We’re still hiring. Currently we have two open positions (one sales, one marketing). We hope to connect with talented members of the tech community and potentially meet a few job candidates.
In addition to expanding our team, we have entered several software markets this past year. We now help buyers research ERP software, supply chain management, customer relationship management, and accounting software, in addition to our existing industry coverage.
Finally, we are excited to launch our first “microsite” for the property management industry. Our new Property Management Software Guide website presents in-depth product reviews, side-by-side comparisons and instructive articles to help property managers research and evaluate software.
Sure we can’t lay claim to the much desired status of “native,” but we feel like Austin is home. We thank the city’s proud, enthusiastic and warm-hearted residents for making us feel welcome. So here’s to you…
