Hi there...

Thanks for a clear and concise article pertaining to the definitions of EHR and EMR.

I realize that this is a couple of years old, but it is worth noting that on an anecdotal level, it appears that there is greater integration of EHR/EMR functionality in practice management offers.

I feel that the diverse nature of the health care service providers prohibits vendors from creating emr solutions that cater to niche specialties. Thus necessitating the inclusion of PMS in order to increase the value proposition.

Kind Regards

Hi

Excellent.

Could some one also provide information on below:

1. Is EMR = Order sets = CPOE? Or all are separate independent systems?
2. Who are all the major players in providing order set
3. Who are all the stake holders of order sets

Thank you
