Hi- I'm debating between an iphone and an itouch. Are most of these medical apps web based? If so, would it be safe to say that wi-fi is sufficient?

Thank you for sharing these new Med Apps! They are fantastic. I’d also encourage you to check iPharmacy - #1 Paid Medical App: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ipharmacy-pill-identifier/id348702163?mt=8#
It has medical guide of 10,000 drugs, pill identifier and digital bar code reader that searches a drug by shape, color or score. Very helpful, indeed.

I would strongly second the need outlined by Dr. Parmelee. Every doctor that see patients in the hospital has to somehow track that patient during their stay and then get that information back to the billing dept. Many of us do it on some form of index cards. I believe an easy to use app of this sort would be a big hit.
